The NameTrains Airport Set includes 16 pieces, two intersecting runways, and ground facilities for a bustling hub. The airplanes measure about 3" long by 1.4" high and have a non-toxic finish. The track is grooved and printed on one side with runway graphics, and one end of the runway is ramped for easy access to the airfield. The switch at the intersection is grooved for easy movement between runways.
The set is designed to be stand-alone but compatible with other wooden train systems. All pieces are made from locally sourced, sustainably harvested hard maple. The collection includes (8) printed 7" straight track pieces, (1) printed crossover track pieces, (2) airplanes, (2) terminal buildings, and (1) 3-piece control towers.
In 2022, the NameTrains Airport Set won the Top Toy of the Year Award from Creative Child Magazine.
